Bariloche cuenta con una calle céntrica principal, la Calle Mitre, la misma es semi peatonal.

En 1928 Atilio Carniel y su esposa María Dal Castel llegaron desde Italia aa San Carlos de Bariloche y 10 años después se instalaron en la calle Moreno, donde se encuentra actualmente el Hotel, inaugurado oficialmente el 30 de Abril de 1938.
Con dos pisos, nueve habitaciones, recepción, living comedor y un baño compartido, nacía el Hotel Nahuel Huapi, bautizado así por la proximidad con el lago y el parque nacional que llevan el mismo nombre.
En el año 53 se realizaron modificaciones que ampliaron la capacidad de alojamiento a 40 habitaciones, llegando a un total de 78 con las remodelaciones de los años 1964 y 1965.
Administrado por tres generaciones de la Familia Carniel, el Hotel Nahuel Huapi cuenta con 80 años de tradición en Bariloche. Gracias a su familiaridad y tradicionalidad ya es parte de la historia de la ciudad.
Distinguido con 3 estrellas y ubicado en pleno corazón de Bariloche, contamos con 78 habitaciones de categoría estándar y superior, acceso y habitaciones para personas de movilidad reducida, lobby, sala de estar, centro de computadoras, restaurant y un Coffee Shop, un espacio cálido y acogedor donde se puede degustar durante todo el día de deliciosos platos y bebidas.
Además, ofrecemos un completo desayuno buffet, estacionamiento gratuito dentro de las instalaciones y la posibilidad de agregar media pensión a su estadía para disfrutar de una cena en el Hotel. Si lo desean también brindamos servicio a la habitación y servicio de lavandería y tintorería.
